Privacy Policy

Seekers Guild operates this site (https://vote.seekers-guild.com) for Founders Live Manila. It is an event tool: attendees cast one audience vote, and founders submit project details through unique founder links. It is not a general social network or marketing platform.

This notice describes what the site does today. Related rules for voting and founder materials are in the Terms of Use.

Depending on how you use the site, we may process:

• Email address, when you sign in with Google or request an email login code.
• First and last name on the attendee roster, if the event admin included them in the uploaded CSV.
• Your vote (which startup you chose) and the time it was recorded.
• Founder project details submitted from a unique founder link, including start-up logo, company or start-up name, founders or representative name, optional website or demo link, and description.
• Role on the site (voter, founder, or admin) so we can show the right screens.

• Passwords. Sign-in uses Google or a one-time email code.
• Payments or card numbers. There is no checkout.
• Precise location, advertising IDs, or device fingerprints we create.
• Children's accounts. The event is not directed at children.
• Analytics scripts. A cookie-free analytics tool is mentioned in internal docs but is not running on this site.

• Confirm you may vote (signed in, on the roster, voting open, not yet voted).
• Record one vote and keep the gallery locked afterward.
• Let founders submit the project details used in the vote gallery.
• Let organizers manage founder links and the voting roster.
• Show submitted founder profiles in the vote gallery.
• Show live tallies to organizers on admin screens only.
• Show the audience leaderboard if organizers publish results.
• Send the login code email when you choose email sign-in.

You can sign in in two ways:

• Google.We exchange Google's sign-in code and use your verified email. We do not store Google access tokens.
• Email code. We email a 6-digit code (valid about 5 minutes) through Resend. The sender [email protected] is for delivery only and is not monitored.

After either method, the site issues a short-lived token (about one hour) that includes your email and role. That token lives in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie we set. Sign out removes it. Closing the tab does not, until the token expires or you sign out.

Signing in is not enough to vote. Organizers upload a checked-in attendee list (typically exported from Luma). We do not connect to Luma's API. Names and emails on that list come from event registration, which happens outside this site.

If you registered for Founders Live Manila and your email is on the uploaded roster, organizers can match your sign-in to that row so you can vote once.

A vote is stored against your roster email: the startup you chose and a timestamp. Other attendees do not see who voted for whom. Organizers and admins can see eligibility and tallies, and the database links your email to your choice so we can enforce one vote.

Live results are admin-only while voting is running. If organizers publish results after closing the voting window, attendees may see the audience leaderboard.

Founders receive unique links from organizers. Through that link, founders submit the project details shown to attendees before they vote: logo, company or start-up name, founders or representative name, optional website or demo link, and description.

Logos are uploaded to object storage and served on a public URL so the vote gallery and leaderboard can load them quickly.

The vote gallery shows start-up name, description, logo, and any founder details organizers ask founders to submit for voting. If the audience leaderboard is published, the leaderboard shows founder names/logos and vote totals.

The attendee roster and individual voter choices are not shown on public pages.

We use these processors to run the site. They only receive what they need for that job:

• Cloudflare Pages - hosts the static website and files.
• Google Cloud Run (asia-southeast1) - runs the API.
• Supabase - PostgreSQL database and public logo storage.
• Google - sign-in, if you choose Continue with Google.
• Resend - delivers the login code email.

Hosting providers may log technical request data (such as IP address) for security and uptime. We do not write raw emails, tokens, or vote choices into application logs.

This app does not set its own login cookies. Your session token is stored in the browser under a local storage key named token. Cloudflare or your browser may still use their own technical cookies. We do not show a cookie banner because we do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

Our target is to keep event data (roster, votes, founder project details, and logos) for about 90 days after the event, then archive or delete it. Hosting logs are targeted at about 30 days. There is no self-serve download or delete button yet, and deletion is not fully automated. Ask the organizers if you need a request handled by hand.

Founders Live Manila is hosted in the Philippines. Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 you may ask to access, correct, or erase personal data we hold, subject to what organizers still need to run a fair vote. There is no in-app request form. Contact the event organizers through Seekers Guild or Founders Live Manila channels.

This site is for an adult founder event. Do not use it if you are a child. We do not knowingly collect children's data.

We do not sell personal data and we do not run behavioral advertising on this site. We share data only with the processors above and with event organizers who administer the night.

If this notice changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. The posted version applies from that date.
